I am an artist and educator based in Brighton, transforming my lived experience into creative projects and artworks. My work often examines the disabled experience, particularly the feeling of existing out of sync with a heteronormative, neurotypical world. Art allows me to reclaim my narrative as one of creativity and recovery, rather than survival. My work communicates complex experiences on my own terms, inviting viewers into conversations around chronic illness, disability, neurodivergence, queerness, gender, and fatness. I am a qualified teacher and work as a Lecturer in Inclusive Education; my creative practice informs my teaching, and vice versa.
